Over the past three decades, the Emerson String Quartet has achieved high prestige and numerous honors across the globe. Their many accolades include nine Grammy awards, three Gramophone awards, and the Avery Fisher Prize. In addition to performing in the world’s finest music halls, the quartet has produced thirty highly acclaimed recordings. They currently hold a residency at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC, as well as Stony Brook University.
